13s Hope to Continue their Winning Ways
The Nashville Celtics 13s have enjoyed an outstanding season. They have had a few first place finishes, and if they were not first, they were the runner-up in most tournaments. They came in 2nd in the AAU&YBOA state championship losing to the same Memphis War Eagle team on back to back weekends in two close games that could have went either way. In YBOA, they beat the War Eagles in pool play. This feat is pretty impressive considering the War Eagles are the #1 YBOA team in the nation and they won the 2009 D1 national championships. The Celtics have the AAU nationals coming up Monday June 28th. There will be 96 teams from just about every state in America. They look forward to continuing their success and plan to bring home the title.
